hyped up by happenings all over/
you know i realised that the world is made really odd. you get headlines about completely different things all around the year. seriously, if you catch the news you should be really shocked by asia's twin tragedies IN ASIA itself. yet although those catastrophes are just a few hours plane rides from singapore we do not actually suffer what they suffer. okay, i admit singaporeans are pretty generous in giving thousands to all those people but do we actually go down there to volunteer and help them. we are actually not practicing you qian chu qian you li chu li (WOW CHINESE)that saying. everything is circled around okay since i have no time i shall be nice by giving money. i am not saying it is not nice but you know reading from the news we actually dont know where the dough goes. esp with all the corruption by those
bastards all around who apparently think their own wallets are more important than this great humanitarian crisis going on in THEIR OWN COUNTRY. this is just so mean, its like you are the frigging government of your own country but not only you are not doing enough for your own people suffering right there you are actually depriving them of the need that is supposed to be given to them. no wonder there's protests and all that. i just feel soooooo bad for them that they have to spend their lives living in a place where they do not get cared by their own government. makes me respect our lee kuan yew even more. you wont actually see a single percent of corruption written on him. he actually lived that long to bring our little red dot to great heights and you can actually see he loves all of us singaporeans. i just feel SO honoured to be a singaporean.
going back to the myanmar crisis i shall give them my sympathy right here.
like they can see but still i cried reading the news alright! cause i was mass reading all the days newspaper that i missed during the weekdays. old news, but to see all the devastation pictures plastered on the front page pulled my heartstrings okay..so i just cried there and then praying for god to help them pull through this really hard period of their lifes while they had to count on each other to survive WHILE their junta soldiers took their time to crawl to their aid. whoa its just so saddening seeing their plight AND NOT BEING ABLE TO DO ANYTHING other than pouring in those notes.
i am starting to sound like cnn.
okay but okay junta, this is my blog and i am just expressing MY opinion about the quakes. not rattling about you or anything cause i have better things to do so this had better not make me State Enemy Number 1 or something and get me hunted down and get sued or anything.
alright back to the point. meanwhile across the world there's the 2008 May's Cannes Film Festival. practically every movie made is going to trash Cannes in First Class Cabins Air Frances with the whole posse. together with critics, journalists and whatnot chasing their tails all around. which means all the really great stuff from the history of cinema is going to congregate there :D those really great directed big-budget movies and the academy awardees..which means Gerard's probably going to glam the whole event with his presence manzhshzhzhzhh!
although i will not believe it when he hooks up with cameron >:/
WHICH HE PROBABLY WILL.
moving on! John Taylor Hammons from muskogee's elected mayor is just so cute :D
he's on the news, and he is EIGHTEEEN.
I SHALL POST PICTURES FROM THE NEWSPAPER OF HIM WHEN I CAN FINALLY GET THIS USB TO ACCEPT MY PHONE CARD.
;JOLYNEEEE!.
